This applies to our use of information that are or may be used to identify you ("Personal Information"). It does not apply to data that cannot be used to identify you ("anonymous data").

We collect and use your device location data while you are using our Services. Our Services include location-based function to provide a consumer experience linked to your actual location, so we need to know where you use our service for yourself and for the product owner, to give him feedback about, the location where its product was scanned or supported ("Giving hearts"). We identify your location by using a variety of browser build-in technologies, including GPS, WiFi points to access the service, and mobile base station triangulation.

We do not collect your IP address, or any data which could identify you.  

Newsletter

In order to receive the newsletter offered on our website, you can register via our form. We use the so-called Double-Opt-In procedure. Here a confirmation mail will be sent to your e-mail address with the request for confirmation. The registration only becomes effective when you click on the activation link contained in the confirmation e-mail. We use your data transmitted to us exclusively for the dispatch of the newsletter, which can contain information or offers.

We use rapidmail to send our newsletter. Your data will therefore be transmitted to rapidmail GmbH. It is prohibited for rapidmail GmbH to use your data for purposes other than sending the newsletter. rapidmail GmbH is not permitted to pass on or sell your data. rapidmail is a German, certified newsletter software provider which has been carefully selected in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR and the BDSG.

We collect personal data only using Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google collects the Data to track and examine the use of this Website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar stores all information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile.
